Metro Boxing

Metro Boxing is a community interest company located in Bolton, UK. The gym was formed and is run by retired boxers, teachers, and local volunteers who are passionate about giving back to the community. They aim to serve a deprived community in Bolton by engaging children and teenagers through boxing. The gym offers a positive activity that teaches discipline and routine to hard-to-reach young people who may have complex home lives or be known to social services and the police. The overall aim of the gym is to develop life skills, reduce crime and anti-social behaviors, improve mental health, and help build stronger communities.
